i was in Daves Music Mine in Pittsburgh's southside. I was just plundering threw the Music and i found this Gem of a CD. The Legendary Lou Rawls....There are 17 good cuts taking the best songs from his previous recordings. Lou could do it all Blues, R & B, and He sang some Frank Sinatra standards. I always liked his rendition of "Willow weep for me" with the strings and studio sounds, but on this CD you get the original version. Sometimes the best place to find good music is the stores where the clerks have blue or green hair, piercings in their nose. The clerk was a space cadet, but he dung Lou Rawls. The 17 songs are these: 1. I'd rather drink muddy water 2. World of trouble 3. Tobacco Road 4. Willow weep for me 5. (They call it Stormy Monday 6. God Bless the Child 7. For You my Love 8. Dead end Street 9. Your good thing (is about to end) 10. Love is a Hurting thing 11. You can't go home any more 12. Fine brown frame 13. At Last 14. Room with a view 15. Don't let me be misunderstood 16. All around the world 17. Good morning Blues This is off capital records and a nice addition to your music Collection The Doctor Temptation
