Mike, trust me!! I have listened to it more than once... all the way through...again and again. Why? Because it puzzles me. I don't dislike the song.... I just can't figure out what he's doing in it....if there is something I'm hearing wrong. And I don't hit "skip" when it comes on..... I'm telling the TRUTH, man!  Peach What else can I say ! |

I can't agree with some of you on this....'Don't send me away' is a very good song! Otis voice sounded really good on that one :yourock:

the song is not that bad it just has a corny beat but its okay " glenn does the best in the song" (glenn was the best tenor the temptations ever had no dissrepect to any eddie fans. just in the style of sing not song wise but glenn had a few good songs to

Darling,Stand By Me holds that distinction of being the worst song EVER recorded...in recording HISTORY. I know I'm about a year late but I completely agree here. Badly written, badly sung, and badly recorded. What a combo!...LOL!! Ed |
