Alright, so it is my belief that Chris Rock is the funniest comedian out there right now. I watched the new special "Never Scared" on DVD the other day and it absolutely sayed me. He goes after everyone from the president to the Jackson family and the part about marriage is friggin hilarious! I am a pretty big comedy fan, and I dont think I have seen anyone as good as Rock since Richard Pryor. Who is everyone else's favorite?

Chris Rock is my favorite comedian also. My favorite is "Bring The Pain"..Very old, but very funny.
Next to that would be Larry the Cable Guy

Brian Regan just makes me laugh for no apparent reason. Rickey Smiley is a funny man...plus he resembles a middle-aged David Ruffin. Dave Chappelle does some of the most entertaining and pointed skit comedy I've ever seen...and the Charlie Murphy stories are hilarious.
Everytime I hear or see Rick James, I have Chappelle flashbacks. ;D

I must say...everyone has some pretty good taste when it comes to comedy. I would have to agree with most of your choices (esp. Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby...classic stuff). I also agree that it is fun to watch Chris Rock perform. On "Never Scared" he is moving all over the place...very high energy.
