I remember paying $.19 and having gas wars where different gas stations competed for your business by lowering prices.....1970...I also remember the gas shortage 1973-4 where I was up at 4:00am waiting on a gas line only get $10.00 worth of gas (there was a limit at some gas stations) so i could get to work by 8:00am. Gas in the Capital city of NC now hovering around $1.79...and going down.

$1.69 per. Ooo Ooo, sho' you right . That's neither here nor there though, because someone backed into my car from a WaWa convenience store and severely dented my rear passenger door. This is the second time in 6 months that this has happened. Same location but the front door last time. The police found the person the first time, but this last one is in the wind somewhere. Talk about lightning striking twice. Oh well, at least no one was hurt. Goin' to get some gas now. Tee Hee!!! -Nate "Boomer"

You got off lucky! ;D If you really want gas, try a gas station burrito! That'll fill the old tank...awooooggggaaa! :laughing ...we gonna leave all our troubles behind...
