Ok, I know y'all are all being good Americans and just finished watching the debate, right? After watching this, I'm even more disturbed that the dude on the right is the acutal president of the United States. How did that happen again? Favorite line from the night when Bush said ... "after our swift victory in Iraq we were surprised to see all of the Hussein supporters left who didn't like us..." (paraphrasing) ............ I actually laughed out loud on that one. LEAST favorite line ........... Bush's argument that once you make a decision on something you have to stick to it no matter what. I'm sorry, but that's BS and if Bush said tomorrow that the war was a mistake and he was wrong for doing so he'd gain so much for respect from me that he'd actually GET my vote. It SOUNDED like pride and vanity was coming before the need to do what is right.

seriously Peach? ............... you SERIOUSLY didn't watch it? I must say I'm a bit dissapointed in you. At least you could have watched it for the same reason I did ......... to reaffirm your already made-up mind.

I really can't stand watching them...way too suspenseful....instead I just watch the summaries at the end. And it's true.....why bother watching when we've already made our mind up? It's all political rhetoric/BS anyway....on *both* sides. Peach

Because Peach, you gotta make an informed decision. Not to say you aren't doing that and not to say that a debate is the ONLY way to do it, but it's an excellent opportunity.
Anyway, I can't wait for the next debate when the audience is allowed to whoop and yell and cheer. Those are the best ones.
I still say Kerry "won" because he wrote more stuff down. That's gotta get you some extra points!

Man!! Sometimes a rush thought comes up to my mind. People complain about the invasion in Irak...but you know...(I'm not saying I like Bush or Kerry, and I should, since I'm half american-half venezuelan), I wish that a couple of planes came down here and threw this FU%$G president out (refering to venezuelan President Hugo Chávez). Too many people have died because of him. My mom, who worked at PDVSA (the major petroleum company), was fired just because she signed to get him out; and we were for about 8 months without getting one Bolivar (that's venezuelan money). And she is just a small case. Imagine that, multiplied for the majority who were (and is) against him...inside and outside PDVSA. Sometimes I wish Bush (or Kerry) "made a mistake". But that's just my "craaazy mind".... I should start a new thread on this subject...for the people interested in international politics.

Although I am not a fan of eitrher of these two candtidates, I do have a probelm with Kerry saying he wants to reduce the Terrorism to a nusiance..............uh I don't know about you but I like living in a country that has never really been attacked in a full fledged war at home. Maybe if your home is destroyed, or your city, or someting tangible you can see, then you might be affected by tall this. Terror is the number one problem we face in the world to, IMO.
