Named after the Melvin we all know and love? .......... Or named after my FATHER? ;D LOL! Actually, when I got him, I was told "he" was a "she". He was purchased with another cat - his brother, actually. I knew a couple who were dating named Melanie and Richard and so I named my cats Mel and Rich. Within two months of naming them, I figured it out on my own. Thankfully, Mel is a rather unisex name. Gotta love pet stores...  Ed |

No biggie. One of my cats (they're both males) is named "Effie" which is short for "Ineffable." But he's meterosexual so he really doesn't mind. |

No, I had the wisdon teeth out 8 years ago. I had to have one of my molars in the back pulled. It broke about 2 weeks ago so badly I only had half of my tooth left. Needless to say it was unrepairable. My dentist couldnt pull it, nor fix it. I had to go to an oral surgeon because my nerve was curved and if a dentist pulled it I could have been paralyzed in my face. So thats what they say. Maybe its just because he's behind in his mortgage and wanted to charge 5 times as much. ;D |
