Oh my, I missed that one. Yeah, what did Melvin say? A piece of broken glass? Yah...a lady dropped her champagne glass and he slipped on the broken glass. Another time, later, the guy again at least leaves the impression he doesn't know David from Eddie...he was talking about Eddie and segues into playing "Since I lost my baby" (at the end of #7) Still a fun listen!!  |

I liked all their stories! I was about to dispair of Glenn getting in there, and I very much enjoyed his story about the first call he got...and his agent (or whoever) told the Tempts rep. that "Glenn was occupied"... :laughing :laughing
do we know the date on this? Who was missing?

Could have been done BEFORE Louis actually joined...depending on what month in 1977 this "Interview "was done. Richard was important to the Distants early years. A lot of times when mentioning the history of the Tempts...the Distants were NOT mentioned...Ed Sullivan didn't mention it. All he was interested in was ...The Primes & The Primettes! |
