I don't get to read all of the threads here so just in case this info has not yet been posted here goes...and if it has already been posted.... SORRY.
RAY Release Date: October 29th, 2004 (wide)
Title Note: (2/15/04) The title has been shortened down considerably, from 'Unchain My Heart: The Ray Charles Story' to just 'Unchain My Heart.' (3/15/04) That didn't last long. The longer title is back. (7/6/04) Universal has decided to shuck all that and go with a final title that is shorter, simpler and says it all: 'Ray.'

I saw the preview for this movie Friday afternoon [waiting on I, Robot]. It looks really good; Jamie is so talented. I hope he starts getting his due after this movie premieres.  |

I saw the trailer on Entertainment Tonight I think it was, and from what I saw of it Jamie Foxx nailed it. I can't wait to see it.

Trailer looks fantastic! I can't wait to see it. Jamie is quite an accomplished musician himself, so I know he can handle the piano. I was impressed with his acting in "Ali" - now the public will get the chance to see just how talented he really is.  |

I heard somewhere he could get at least a Golden Globe if not an Oscar. I like to see a comic do well in drama, like when I saw him in Any Given Sunday.

What's really important is that Jamie Foxx was equally good in Collateral, meaning the guy can act.
