Yepp, but before they had hooked up the first time, she and her baby daddy sometime engaged in ummm....certain activities, and just when she and my friend got cool again, she found out she was pregnant, and my friend didn't want nothing to do with that really, but he was still going to stay with her, he just needed some time to think, and during the time, she went out and got an abortion because she thought he'd stay with her, and after she told him, he dumped her, and hasn't talked to her since. He's a Christian so he don't believe in that. Where`s your friend, is he a member here? I would sure like to say something to him....

Where`s your friend, is he a member here? I would sure like to say something to him.... Naw, he's not here. He and I became good friends through work. But he is a tempts fan. The girl also works with us, but she got temporarily moved to another store, before all this went down. But I still talk with her.

This is my own poem. It may sound silly, but I don`t care...And im not afraid to say it...I wrote it for you Ivory: *** Sun is shining, the sky is clear blue but im still sad...I can`t stop thinking of you So what should I do? go outside and forget about it all or stay and hope...that maybe you`ll still recall? I learn from my mistakes, im not a fool I thought I was cool, I was wrong I thought you knew me, that you`d understand me... I thought I could talk to you about everything, yet again I was wrong. And now we don`t talk to eachother anymore at all...and it`s already been too long. Im lying on my bed, listening to Berlin - "Take My Breath Away" I think of everything what has been And I realise...you`re again on my mind I know, i`ve made errors before, but this time I was sure if things will start heading not in a right way, i`ll see it! I just didn`t expect... that love will make me blind. Still I have to say though, it`s not love, but it`s friendship what is important to me with you Remember I said: "You`re a good friend!", well, I don`t say that to anyone...You are special to me and I adore you. But No, I won`t plea, I won`t cry if you really want so, ok then let our relationship remain this way There`s nothing else left for me to say. *** Pretty Good! I'm sure Ivory'll love it!! temptsinfo.com/smilies/wtg.gif :clapping:

"Spring"
The birds are singing The church bells ringing In the sky there are doves Two young hearts falling in love Children are playing games outside A pretty girl I've just spied Flowers are blooming Cats are grooming This is Springtime The weather is warm and fine The sun is shining brightly I'm holding my girl so tightly There's a friendly gust in the air Coming up soon is the fair People are cooking on their grills Pools everywhere are getting their fill Dogs are running in the park Kids catching fireflies in the dark Families are taking vacations at the beach Fall and Winter are way out of reach T-shirts and shorts are now the outfit Gone are jackets, scarves and mits Suntan lotion and sunglasses are everywhere Everyone is soon finding their pair Lemonade and sweet tea are the drinks Everyone is going to the skating rink.

Once you had a heart And you gave it to me But now that we're apart You've hurt me indefinitely I wonder what I had done To cause you to walk away You were my earth, moon, stars and sun From our love I thought you'd not stray We used to have so much fun Baby please come back Give me just one more chance Oh, I'ma have a heart attack If I ever lose our romance Baby do you see my crying You know I'll always love you I promise I'm not lying When I say my feelings are true.

I wrote a poem back in high school for one of my classes. The point of the project was to predict how life would be in 50 or so years and come up with an original work that showed our prediction. I tried some of everything, and at around 3am that morning, I came up with the poem. It's about even lazier kids in the year... 2052, I guess. Take a page From the book of those Who went before. Those who risked everything To gain just another inch of something; Good causes, Ones that were for The betterment of everybody Not just you, Because you choose to be selfish and lazy. These days are about conceit and serving oneself. Previous struggles no longer matter. Get what you want now, Because you want it, With no thought to consequence. Get into trouble Because you can. They say those who can, Do And those who cannot, Encourage. I wish I could say that this new era Was full of promising young go-getters But have we spoiled our youth To the point where they feel That all they have to do is exist And their will be done? Technological advancements have left No stone unturned, No "I" without it's dot, And no "T" uncrossed. It's a dangerous thing, To supply the young with so much information And then to not make sure they also acquired The thirst for knowledge. So much has been done that Maybe they don't feel As if they are able to add on to, Or hand down their own legacy. In any case, The Age of Imprudence Is upon us. As far as I can see, The people to blame Stare back at us in the mirror every day.

Wrote this to AnnaKonda: There`s this lady on this Board, we call her Anna! She`s nice and fun to be around, and once you get to know her better, you realise just how truly great friend you have found! But she`s married, so single guys should be careful, remember, good friendship can also be wonderful! So don`t try too hard to impress her, it won`t do, just be youreself and belive me, she will like you. Anna, enjoy your life and smile as often as you can! And even when comes a day, where there`s no reason to be happy, Smile! and you`ll see life will smile to you in return, Don`t worry!.....instead party! One more thing I`d like to to say to you, and im sure many will agree: that you look very pretty! It`s true, I know I have said it to many women on this Board: Ivory, Peach, earthangel, MissTara, but there`s also you Anna!

Here's my favorite poem about music and musicians; I've always think of Jimi Hendrix when reading it:
With what attentive courtesy he bent Over his instrument; Not as a lordly conqueror who could Command both wire and wood, But as a man with a loved woman might, Inquiring with delight What slight essential things she had to say Before they started, he and she, to play.
Frances Cornford (1886-1960)

... and here's my favorite one about life:
The Hound
Life the hound Equivocal Comes at a bound Either to rend me Or to befriend me, I cannot tell The hound's intent Til he has sprung At my bare hand With teeth or tongue. Meanwhile I stand And wait the event.
Robert Francis (1901-1987)

... and my favorite love poem
Love Poem
My clumsiest dear, whose hands shipwreck vases, At whose quick touch all glasses chip and ring, Whose palms are bulls in china, burs in linen, And have no cunning with any soft thing
Except all ill-at-ease fidgeting people; The refugee uncertain at the door You make at home; deftly you steady The drunk clambering on his undulant floor.
Unpredictable dear, the taxi drivers' terror, Shrinking from far headlights pale as a dime Yet leaping before red apoplectic streetcars-- Misfit in any space. And never on time.
A wrench in clocks and the solar system. Only With words and people and love you move at ease. In traffic of wit expertly manoevre And keep us, all devotion, at your knees.
Forgetting your coffee spreading on our flannel, your lipstick grinning on our coat, so gladly in love's unbreakable heaven Our souls on glory of spilt bourbon float.
Be with me, darling, early and late. Smash glasses-- I will study wry music for your sake. For should your hands drop white and empty All the toys of the world would break.
John Frederick Nims (1913 - ?)
