That is David Ruffin's brother Jimmy,David had a stronger delivery than that...listen to all of David's songs...he NEVER sounded that weak.

Jimmy's part was only on the bridge which then went into David's part. Are you trying to tell me that David Ruffin has no part in Born To Love You???

No he has a part, just not the part you think he does. Why did they need Jimmy to do what you claim he did when they have Otis? He could have been the "Bridge-man".

Okay about the disputed line....At times david had that smooth sweet soft voice, AKA songs like MY GIRL, IT'S GROWING, and so on...At time he did sound like his bro...But also david did have that stronger delivery and louder voice, But is it possible that it is David sounding like jimmy?, Because if you think about it David did sound like jimmy when he wasn't singing RUFFIN-IZED with his cracks and squeaks in his voice...Anyways had to input my opinion...see ya

sure, david could sound smooth, maybe like Jimmy (not in my opinion, I can't get them to sound anything alike). The line in dispute begs the question "could jimmy sound rough like David?".
