Now, I knew the Brother could sing, but you gotta hear somebody new do classic or make a classic. Louis Tore it up on "I see my child" even though Otis was on his coattails while he was singing, but Louis didn't get a chance to make a classic. The lovely Ms. Ivory has been so kind to let me in on the next best thing. If you haven't made a classic, you have to sing one and she has brought him to us doing a classic. Why didn't this Brother stay with the Tempts. He is certainly Tempts material and a performer. He makes the stage and concert hall a living room floor or a camp fire and brings everybody in close as he tells his story. Let's Listen and talk about Louis. www.temptsinfo.com/media/soundstage/asongforyou.rm Louis sharemation.com/imonfire/ASongForYou.wmaDennis

You're right again. I've never heard him sing before and he really does that song justice. Not to slight Dennis, but I think Louis's voice suits the song better.

Yes, the man has real chops, Aba. I do think he would have worked out well, had he been able to stay.

I listened to Louis Price singing "A Song for You" on the clip you provided, and I must say I came away impressed. However, he sounds like Jerry Butler, and that sound is kind of an odd fit to the Tempts sound. Most people are used to that churchy, gruff, squalling type of the baritone/tenor leads real Tempts fans have grown accustomed to hearing. I admit the brother can sing but not with the Temptations!! I've been looking for him singing with the Tempts for a long time, but I can't find any of their Atlantic Records recordings. Can anyone help me out? Temptations 4 Ever :o

Why didn't Louis stay with the Tempts? Because the group wanted and needed Dennis back !

Funny, how come Donnie Simpson's interview with Eddie & Dennis can't get put up on the board. Ivory has it,why is she holding out? DOUBLE STANDARD?
