The only Disney sequels I've liked were the two following Beauty and the Beast. The Enchanted Christmas is cool. The second Lion King was such a disappointment. It was pretty much the same. The sequel to Cinderella wasn't good. The Little Mermaid 2 was cute. I didn't see Scooby Doo, but I haven't heard good things about it. And I can't wait to see Shrek 2!!!! I like the Joy Luck Club also. It stuck very closely to the book.

You know, I watched "Remember the Titans" for the second time Saturday night.... you tend to pick up things you missed the first time. I had no idea how many Temptations songs were in that movie!!! I counted four. Not only a great movie, but great music, too! Peach

I thought that was coming on last night, Peach I'm so mad I missed it. Oh well, at least I have the tape! I watched There's Something About Mary last night instead and that movie is hilarious. What do you all think about Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon. I saw if for the first time last week. I, for one, hate that movie! It's so corny. The Glow, The Master, etc. Just the worst movie I've seen in a long time! Most of the people who recommended it to me, saw it as kids. And I probably hate it b/c I'm older. Then again, I don't think I would have liked it as a child either.

Bruce Leroy! Eating popcorn with the chopsticks! I don't remember that much of it, just that part. I think I liked it because Taimak Guari was--and still remains--a very good-looking dude. ;D

I just found out that Wood Harris from Remember the Titans (Julius) and 'Celeb I like to ogle' Steve Harris are brothers. Both of 'em have lips for days... ;D I was wondering why he (Wood Harris) looked so familiar. Has he been in anything recently and how old is he? Which brother is older?

Wood is almost 34 (in about 17 more days) and Steve is older, at around 37 years old. I just found out that Wood's real name is Sherwin, which is part of the reason I didn't make the connection when I read Steve's biography at imdb.com (which has their credits).
I haven't seen Wood on anything except RtT, but HBO.com has him listed as a cast member on The Wire, one of their newest shows.

Wood did a great job playing Jimi Hendrix in a TV movie last year.

You know, tdallas, I was just trying to picture Wood as Jimi Hendrix in my mind and I can totally see it. What was the name of the movie? OT: Would you all believe that I missed Denzel on Letterman Monday? He'll be on BET's 106th and Park tonight/this afternoon/whatever. I'll have to catch him then.
