Sukka - Duke is in Durham, which is a small town but... Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill are "Tri-Cities" also called the Research Triangle (think technology) Colleges in the area are UNC-Chapel Hill (Tarheels), Duke, NC State and VERY close by are Wake Forest, NC A & T, UNC-G, Greensboro College, Bennett College, Winston-Salem State. So there are a WHOLE lot more people - especially college age, around that area.

OK,I heard on the radio this morning that a thirteen yr old has been caught and charged w/second degree murder. Police say other charges will probably be filed. I think they are still looking for other suspects.

All this talk about NC! Actually I have only been to charlotte once and that was to go to Carowinds. I would like to visit though. There are a lot of people from my school that are from charlotte. They seem to miss it a lot. Lynnie, I'll be up your way all weekend. My boyfriend and I are going to King's Dominion and then we're supposed to take a little tour of D.C. I hope no Joyriders get us!!

Oh good!! So he's taking you?? Good for you. At least SOMEBODY is acting right I think at this point, the joyriders are confined to that area of the District. You guys will be alright. It's just you too going? Make sure you get on the Outer Limits. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE IRON EAGLE!!! I don't trust that ride anymore!!!

I haven't been on the IE in years, but I don't trust it. It's a ride where everyone is seated and it goes in the air and upside down and all. It's not a rollercoaster, but the feeling is kind of the same. I remember the last time I got on it, it was cool and all, you know. But as SOON as we got off...the ppl on the very next ride GOT STUCK!!! Now, mind you, this thing goes slow and upside down. That could have easily had been us!! And I already don't like heights, so I could be messed up right now!!! :hairraiser:
