I'd prefer this kind of music anyday over the kind of music that's around now... music back in the days had a meaning to it, it wasnt just about clean cars with big rims on it and who had more platinum in their mouths.. no body talks about love no more.. those day's are gone Those days will never be gone as long as young people like you keep it alive and well!!!!! ;D

hi zetaniece! hi mikey!
aba- brother i stumbled across this movie for rent -it came out in 1999- really good flick- it's called ''THE BASKET'' - it stars peter coyote and karen allen- it's about 1918 in sokane washington and these 2 german kids-bro and sis -refugees - are hated by the townspeople because of WWI and the teacher used to coach basketball in boston and played under dr. james naismith so he teaches the german boy how to shoot and it's fun to see basketball played 85 yrs ago! i think you'll like it! we watched it yesterday!

I guess that meant nobody dunked or put the ball between the legs since it was 85 years ago... Is it as good as the classic The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh , featuring the Doctor, Super John, Sweet Lou, Kareem, Meadowlark, the Sylvers, the Spinners(no Phillipe 'Soul' Wynne or GC Cameron), Jonathan Winters, Stockard Channing, Chick Hearn, Marv Albert and much, much more?

it was different- not better or worse. it was not showy or flashy- it was primitive but i like historical settings. we don't usually get to see too much of the older basketball.

I was tongue in cheek with the Fish That Saved Pittsburgh. So the movie really isn't about basketball, just uses the sport as a back drop.
