Ok, since I am a fairly new member here I've been hopping around this board(basically glancing at anything mentioning David & or Leon) so I hadn't seen all your threads & what not. Well tonight, I decided to actually search through pretty much everything you guys have hear. So I saw the 5th anniversary of the series thread & the Davids firing thread & the what would you have done thread & so on. You guys seem like a tight knit group & I love ya'lls sense of humor....seriously I was crying cause I was laughing so hard at some of ya'lls comments/jokes. So, I guess I just hope I can make some of the great friendships you guys have created here cause you seem like a wonderful group of people(despite what seems to be many age differences, myself being 17). I think it is truely amazing how the Tempts(the real ones or the actors) have brought soo many diverse people together....their music truely is a binding thing!! I've loved My Girl & Get Ready since I was very young & never knew who sang them till like 4-5 weeks ago as of now. But I know now & will never forget. This movie(mini-series), corny & ridiculus as it may sound I believe has truely effected my life greatly. It's been a short while, but from the looks of it....once you go Tempts; there's no turning back. By the way, I'll probably be making most my post in the mini-series section do to the fact that I give it full credit to my love & interest in the Tempts. Well, ok I give some credit to the movies "3 Men & a Baby" & "Problem Child 2" cause thats were I heard the songs "My Girl" & "Get Ready". I'm so glad I joined this group!!!! Oh, don't forget...ya'll got any Leon & or David sites, please send 'em to me. There I go using "Ya'll" again....damn that picknick scene:"Hello Ya'll"-David(Leon).

As I said it once, I'll say it again. We are all under the magical "Temps Spell" that the chosen smart people fall into. I'm sorta new to the threadz myself and I appreciate this thread too. It's the only place I can come to talk about the wonderful Temps (Both in the movie and of course the real ones  ). |

Lol, aww. I feel loved =) I'm such a sap, really a very sentimental person. But I meant my message & am glad I have a friend. Thanks lightdion....I'm honored. "Temptations Forever" =D See how much happiness they bring?! Speaking of, I'm pretty "giddy" today myself....probably cause I saw Batman Begins today(AWESOME movie, I HIGHLY recommended it....a definate MUST for Christian Bale fans; I've loved him since like 4th grade). And of course I watched The Temptations again today, & the Legally Blonde(which is an extremley uplifting movie) & now I'm about to watch The Temptations again with my little sister. I hope ya'll(there I go again, thanks Leon) respond more to this thread, one can never have enough friends =D

Lol, one can't help but give in to the Tempting Temptations =D I love your comments. We just try to get to the truth as best we can. Some of us have lived it. And some of us have studied it. However you get there is great. You can not turn a blind eye to the story no matter how it twists and turns. When you hear a certain singer sing a certain song you think he must be the perfect man. However you soon find out they are were human and had their faults but that didn't deter me from loving the product that they gave us. I see you're only 17.well I been feeling like you for more than 40 years so you got a long way to go to catch me!!! ;D ;D ;D Welcome aboard and don't hesitate to ask questions, folks around here will help you find the answers you seek. They may not be the ones you want but they will be answers. |

Thanks, I know what you mean. Listen to David sing I Wish It Would Rain & you'd think he'd be the perfect man, but then low & behold you find out he has drug problems. Speaking of David(Leon). Cool Runnings was on at 6am & I knew I couldn't wake up that early, so I decided to stay up that late. I was so close yet so far away....I managed to stay up till 4:30am & then my eyelids had to close!! I was soo mad when I woke up at like 10:30 this morning. Fortuantely, Cool Runnings is on again at 9 tonight & no question about it I'm taping it =D Thanks for responding to my post Aba21...heard you met Leon, do tell =)
