OK, I guess you have forced me to tell about my chance meeting with Leon. Before I go there, let me just say if Mr. Ruffin were ever within arms reach I would have made a swipe at the rear action as well.
Now onto Leon. I sat next to him on the train once, here in NYC. I happened to be deep in the pages of 'Waiting to Exhale'. He asked if I liked the book, and because I'm on the train, in NYC, I ignore him. Two young ladies were sitting across from us going crazy because of course they knew who he was. He didn't really pay them any attention...anyway, he asked again about my opinion of the book, and said he was going to be in the movie. I looked up and saw this pretty black man, but still couldn't place him until I turned away again, then I called him JT. Oh yeah, I said, the Five Heartbeats. He then went on to say something about the movie, I said my cousin loves you, he asked what her name was and gave me an autograph on a post'it I had in the book. He asked what my name was and if I wanted one as well, I declined. I did however give my little cousin hers, she was thrilled. Fine looking man, but not my taste, except for the complexion. I mean beautiful skin tone, and texture. Christian, Richard T. Jones, Terrenc Howard, I'd have to control myself.

Hey Crella.. good to see you back!!!! glad you posted your meeting.. cuz I forgot what thread it was on when you first told it... what a chance.. sitting next to Leon!!! *s*
now DRL.. did you know that leon had his own talk show on BET? was called the Elbow room... it was on Thursday or was it Tuesday Nights... it was like talk show.. where him and guests discussed current issues.. it was on about the time when Bush was re elected.. it was short lived..
I think they just talked about too many topics in such a short time.. on each episode.. it would have been nice to have maybe one or two topics.... I did like his talk show.. I have a couple of them that I taped.. maybe you can email BET about the Elbow Room.. maybe they have some episodes you can buy.. or maybe BET will have re runs? .. it was nice to see Leon as LEON and what he thinks about certain things... there is a thread in here.. probably in the movie thread about his talk show...

I want a "chance meeting" with Leon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are soooo lucky, I can't even....no words!! Seriously I mean, you where right next to him!!!! He spoke to you, he talked to you!! I....you, UNFAIR, lucky as hell & so unfair!!!!!!!!!! You were in like kissing distance of him!!!! I..........*envy/jealousy grows immensley at a rapid pace*!!!! And you know what?! The man does have BEAUTIFUL skin =) It's like flawless.......unfairly so infact, lol. =D Could be his best feature....well, course he has other "ass-ests" but ya. Not wanting to look stupid, it would've taken every ounce of self control I have(which isn't much when it comes to Leon) to not have completely freaked out or fainted infront of him....I think I could play it cool; but God it'd be one of the hardest things I'd ever have to do!!!!!!!!!! The second I turn 18 I swear..........lol. =D

Ya, I found out about his talk show....a bit too late I might add but I ya I know he had one. Wish I had seen it =( I think I will email/write BET about re-runs or buyin the episodes!! Thanks for the info & idea =D

Wow....someone who believes I have a chance (unlike my oh so supportive family,lol) =D Thanks for being optomistic & believing in my dream, really do appreciate it, makes me feel less pathetic & more hopeful =D I wanna know who please!! I won't think your crazy, I swear.....I mean that'd be a bit hypocritical of me considering I'm calling Leon "my future husband" =) You can email me instead of posting it here if you like, please tell me!! If anything your only as crazy as I am....though I'm not sure that's a comforting thought to ya =D
