ABA21- you are class and human and terrific! however- the same can't be said for the nba........
just in today's news-TODAY'S NEWS...
kobe is arrested for sexual assault
damon stoudamire of the portland jailblazers is arrested for the 3rd time and found to have possession of 1.5 ounces of marijuana- this after november he pea bargained down a prior charge to rehab and wrist slaping- he went through the airport with the pot!
darrell armstrong of the orlando magic was arrested on charges of fighting with a FEMALE COP at a club.
stoudamire should be banned from the nba.
armstrong-if he is found guilty - should pay $$ and be suspended.
if kobe is found guilty- he should be suspended, expelled , or jailed.
what's your take?

My take is ...wait untill the facts come in! Now,question. When Kobe is found NOT GUILTY,will there be a retraction from all who spread this S#!T ? NO ,so leave it alone untill the TRUTH comes out! You have no right to spread things like this without PROOF ! I wouldn't even do that to Otis! AND THAT'S THE TRUTH ! NO B.S. ! No FLAG !

damon stoudamire admitted that was his pot. he has been arrested and convicted of drug possession before and violated his latest sentence/probation. -fact
fact-darrell armstrong admitted to hitting the lady cop but insisted he was provoked. i don't know if he's guilty or not but he admitted doing it. i would never hit a lady nor a cop but that's just me.
the point is that too many guys in sports are getting into trouble. too many bad people are playing for teams making big money.
the owner of the trailblazers said he's looking into stoudamire's contract to see if he could void it. fact.so far he hasn't found a loophole in it.fact.
kobe may have been set up -it could be bogus- the thing that throws me for a loop is the dna-which is 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999%
accurate. i don't know....but i'll reserve judgement for later.

If he's guilty. He won't be suspended. Just b/c it's Kobe. I can't see the league making HIM the example. He might get in trouble w/NIKE though.
P.s. Just read an article on Stoudamire. He's so stupid!! How do you figure you could get through a metal detector w/aluminum foil? When he first came to the league, I didn't think he'd turn out like this.

Lynnie, you're not THAT little. ;D My mom is 5'0", her youngest sister is 4"9" and my daughter-in-law is 4'10". I'm only 5'2" - but the last time I weighed 113 was when I was about 23.  I feel so small!! I can't look anybody in the eye!! There is this girl though, a cheerleader at school, who looks to be about 9 yrs old. |

I have *always* wanted to be petite..... the kind of female that guys could pick up with one hand. ;D But I ended up average-sized.... 5'6" and 125.  And my daughter, at the rate she is growing, is going to be 5'9" and beating guys up. She's already taller than all the girls and most of the boys in her class. Fortunately, she loves that. A couple of years ago, my younger brother (he's 21 months younger) picked me up and held me up against the wall....WITH EASE!!! I was about as high off of the ground as a clock would be!! and he's not that much bigger than me. I've come to grips w/my size. It's cute to be small. Plus, I get the good deals on shoes. |

my first girlfriend in high school was 5 foot 1. my last girlfriend in high school was 4 foot 11.
my wife is 4 foot 8.
my ex wife is 5 foot 6
height is the distance between the bottom of you feet and the top of your head. that's all. nobody is better than you or worse than you because of height.

Anyway, the little girl called me a kid!! How is a five year old gonna call me a kid!! That was one I hadn't heard before. |

I feel so small!! I can't look anybody in the eye!! You could me!! The school I went to was k-12. In high school, I always had a knack for attracting the 7th grade boys. ............ One of them picked me up at a basketball game. I think the whole gym was laughing. :laughing: Plus, I get the good deals on shoes. Now this is true. I wear a size 5 wide but usually have to get a 6 1/2 because 5w is so hard to find. I can wear a girls size 4. I bet you can too. But I ended up average-sized.... 5'6" and 125.Peachy, that sounds like a good size. You'd make a good bride because you're built for the dresses. I bet you even have good shoulders and I wouldn't have to clip up the straps for you. I love a bride with a long torso and good shoulders.
