David didn't have to own it, he had the keys and a drug dealer will take it off your hands. I knew a guy who had a custom van and the drug dealer just liked to ride around in it, so he would give the guy crack to use his truck sometimes on the weekends.
I am so glad to hear people are finally listening to what Dennis and others have said about the Made for TV movie which is just what it is. To have any animosity towards anyone strictly because of the movie is foolish at best. It was*based* on a book by Otis Williams, that's all. If anything Ms. DePasse could be villified for the movie because she had the final say on it.
