Favorite scene? Too many to choose from.
I guess I would have to go with the scene at Hitsville when they audition for Berry. There was just so much hope, energy, and promise.
Played out very well.

Oh, I know...sorry, but I'm breakin the request for just one, I got 3 or 4: 1) The New Year's Scene 2) The scene where the Primes and Primettes sing Stay 3) The scene where they're singin "Mother of Mine" 4) The Final Scene 5) The scene where Paul sings FOIML 6) Beauty's Only Skin Deep 7) Alright...might as well just say ALL the song scenes! Yea...but thats just 3 or 4  |

I like the scene after "Aint too proud to beg" backstage underthe blue lights.  What I love about that scene is Eddie standing up to Otis! I know that at that time rehab was not something made public, but why could they not help David, & Paul(later) indiscretly? Only Eddie was willing to do so! Just Maybe They could have prevented such tragic Ends to Their Lives! Instead, They were thrown away like "Alabama Trash" like Eddie said! What A senseless & tragic loss of true Talent! I think that's what Eddie Meant when He said, "You used to have a Soul Melvin"!  ! |

I think I told Ivory I think it's my favorite. Yes, and I think I told you that you were crazy 'cause the scene in David's apt. was the best one.  But I kinda agree with Dnice, that scene where David rushes on stage and what takes place after is good to ........... actually that whole part of the movie, from Dave's apt to the one I just mentioned, yeah, that's the best part.
