Okay, so I've purchased a new Ed Sullivan DVD called "Rock and Roll Forever", and some reviewer said the DVD would have the perfomance that the Tempts and DRATS did on the Ed Sullivan Show singing a medley of each other's songs. Turns out, the DVD only included them singing "I'm Losing You". Can someone tell me EXACTLY what Ed Sullivan DVD that certain performance is on? I'd really apprechiate it. Please and Thank-you.

SOMEBODY.....ANYBODY?! Please help a sista out! I'm practically breaking my neck trying to look for this one performance!!!! I viewed the entire performance listing for the Ed Sullivan 9-DVD Box Set, and the performance wasn't on there! I will buy a whole DVD (or VHS) with a bunch of perfomances that I don't want to see just to OWN that one performance!!! ;D

I know some people got their hands on this performance on ebay;this was before the Definitive Performances dvd came out. They were random vhs's with many Tempts performances throughout their years, but im not sure if they're readily available now. But I did see the full performance on youtube. It was listed as the Primes and the Primetes, but you know how youtube is with clips here today and gone tomorrow. I don't know if that helped but it is a shame an incredible performance like this isn't available on dvd as of yet.

I have the full version ( with Diana ruining two Tempts classics) and an edited version of just the Tempts. The latter is of much higher quality...both figuratively and literally. The Supremes do "My Girl" and "Get Ready." The Tempts do "Stop! In The Name Of Love" (David) and "Baby Love" (Eddie). On the final number, David wipes the floor with Diana on "(I Know) I'm Losing You"...as you've already seen. I have the edited version on my other computer...won't be a problem to copy it over to this one, upload it and post a link when I get a chance. The full version will take more time and effort...and, like I said, it's a much poorer quality video.

Editted, non-editted....doesn't matter to me. If you can, it would be most apprechiated, Beej!

No problem.
The original MPEG of that clip is DVD quality...but it's also over 100 MB. I cut it down to about 20 MB by transcoding it to flash (.FLV). The video I uploaded is actually clearer than what you saw, but I can't do anything to change the quality or frame rate at which Photobucket displays videos.
YouTube is worse.
I don't know if you viewed the clip at full size or not, but it's actually 640 x 480 pixels...about 1 1/2 times larger than the default view.

IS THAT THE REASON THE VIDEO LOOKS LIKE I'M LOOKING AT AN OLD JAPANESE MOVIE......THE PIC QUALITY IS AWESOME, I JUST LIKE TO HAVE THE MOVEMENT GOING WITH THE SONGS.....COULD THAT BE MY COMPUTER SYSTEM?

Yes.
Pause the clip as soon as it starts and allow it to fully load before you hit PLAY. Your system might be dragging because it's trying to play the video while it's still loading.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LOAD The progress bar to the right of the PLAY button will gradually turn from light gray to dark gray as the clip loads. Once it's entirely dark gray, the clip is fully loaded. The time it takes depends on your internet connection. Beej, Do you have that clip with Eddie, David and Diana? When the guys are chasing her? I have no idea what you're referring to.

it was actually a music video clip done in a comedic vein with Eddie & David. It had 'Can't Get Next To You' playing in the background while Eddie & David were chasing Diana Ross. This was during the time when David & Eddie singing with Hall & Oates.
