weak4weeks yes i do have connections but thats beside the point. just go to soul exppess online and read about the june interview done with gc. and how he tells his side of the story. all you have to do is google interviews with gc.cameron and go to soul express online or e-mail him. well that directly conflicts with what he said in his interview with maurice watts. so which is true. I tend to question the credibilty of random websites...

I know that G.C. told Otis over eight months or more ago that he wanted to leave. Otis asked him to stay until he found a replacement, and G.C. agreed. From the very beginning I felt that G.C. would not stay long because he is essentially a soloist. I looked at the record of the various times he was with the Spinners, and he did not stay long any of these times. There were no hard feelings when he left. He just liked being a soloist. Some people like being in a group; others prefer being a soloist. It is nothing against either person. If you listened to G.C. on Maurice Watt's program, you will know that he is a class act. G.C. is a very nice person, and I will miss him. Otis does an excellent job of finding replacements, and I am confident that his replacement will be good. see you, i like the way you put that, very classy i'll miss him too

Back some time ago I spoke to the fact that G.C. was not the power house lead vocalist that we come to know and appreciate when it comes to the Temptation organization. I think that I even stated that if Reflections didn't measure up that there would be some personnel changes. For some strange reason I feel that G. C. asked to be replaced because he saw the handwriting on the wall knowing the inevitable would sooner or later happen. However, I do want us all to understand that there are no replacements for a David Ruffins, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin, or and Ollie Woodson. The contributions that was made by those who came after had an impact, but not like those mentioned above. If Reflections flopping was to result in personnel changes why not start at much needed places. G.C. was an excellent lead singer with the Tempts. The two culprits in my opinion are the two weakest ever Tempts Ron and Terry. Iwish alll of you could hear my special version of Reach out and touch somebody's hand. I overdub it with me doing Glenn Leonard styled falsetto, oh so sweet in comparison to the coarse nasally falsetto Ron has, hes weak. He and terry both lack charisma and presence in their singing. I can barely stand to listen to either one of them.

Come on Everybody, the Temptations are an old group, they had their heyday. Today they are just an oldies group reliving the PAST.....AND THAT'S THE TRUTH

I love Terry...he brings the charism to the temptations he has that stage presence that makes you say "that man loves being a Temptation! the way he moves on stage reminds of me of Paul and how he used to take over the show, i mean look how he sings since i lost my baby...he's saying hey "I'm here" and when i take the lead your going to listen, and Watch!!.....Ron is a great temptations and most people know your voice gets weaker as you grow older as a falsetto singer and ron who is almost 60 i believe is just natural thats going to happen but the man can still sang!...i think its more of bad production on there albums then the singers

Ramzy- could you post your "special version" of Reflections and let us all hear? I think Ron is keeping the flame, whatever's left of it, alit. He sounds more to the tradition than anyone else, IMO. But I haven't heard them lately to be honest. I liked his take on "Symphony". What I'd really like is to hear him with the Review, w/ Dennis (Hollywood) and Ali (Soul to Soul). That would be "Alright With Me".......
