it is being billed as the ugliest nba finals game ever- :'(they set a record for lowness. lowest scoring first half in history. the winning spurs missed 12 free throws and actually had 17 turnovers. the nets scored 9 points in the 2nd period! the half time score was 33-30! even the spurs were fighting among themselves for shooting and playing so poorly! the final was 84-79 spurs. this gives them back home court advantage. i said this earlier in the playoffs that i didn't want san antonio becuase they would make it a dull series like they did in 1999 in a low scoring boring finals. i wanted dallas so we would see run and gun which is how i like the kings and the mavs and i know jason kidd plays well like that .

Well... well... owner Bob Johnson has unveiled the name and logo for Charlotte's new NBA team today. In keeping with the cats theme (Carolina Panthers) here it is:

Ehhh I gotta get used to the logo and the whole nine. We may see some Orange uni's for the first time since the Cavs had em in the mid 80s, whose sportin wine and gold colors this season themselves.

charlotte of things happen over there!
77-76 ! nets tie it up y'all! 2-2!
what a low scoring finals this is! it's like the 1999 spurs-ny knicks finals- sloppy, low scoring-boring. low ratings on the nielsens.
kings or mavs or lakers would've brought more viewers and excitement. nets are fine- they like to run and gun.

he's the only one i am happy for on the spurs. otherwise it was a reprise of 1999's boring nba finals. tim duncan set a new record for blocks. a great player. the admiral is still more of a hero to me. not dissing tim, just the way it is. david robinson epitomizes class and integrity and community service. i like the nj nets' plans to win the cup= first lose to the lakers in 4. then come back and lose to the spurs in six. then next year win it all. but without kidd?

CONGRATS TO THE SPURS..........THEY PLAYED LIKE THE CHAMPIONS THEY NOW ARE!!!!!!!! The Nets are a good team but didn't have enough to take the crown. Oh well there's twenty some odd other teams that were watching this and the paycheck for being there ain't too bad. Oh yeah....Ivory my sweetie, yes Dr J. and I kicked the hell out of the Spurs in our run to the rings, even though it's no consolation right now!!! ;D ;D David Robinson is a man of substance and character and him going out the way he did is great for all the good guys in the world!!!! ;D
