when i listen to dennis sing, he definitely could be a southern preacher. he has that kind of powerful voice. he also can sing ON KEY which lots of losers that call themselves singers cannot do.

mike, you may not like ali ollie oxen free-woodchopper's son, but i do like his voice. it is different than dennis and david , and definitely a notch below, but still he's better than 90 percent of the freaks out there on the charts!

Trying to revive an older thread here...i don't comment on stuff I haven't heard...well I was just browsing the listening room pages and came across Backstage...I happen to like this song Dennis sounds SUPER on it. From the looks of this thread this was on the Reunion Album(am I right?) I will have to listen again just to hear David and Eddie.. I swore earlier I thought whomever was 1st Tenor at the time sounded like Sweet Eddie...guess thats because it was him ...Duh. Also I heard this song sang by someone anyone know who else it was cut on?

No, unfortunately the only songs Eddie and David did on that album were WITHOUT the Tempts. The first tenor you hear on "Backstage" is Glen.

The only song on the Reunion LP (which is not to be confused with the CD) that David and Eddie are on is "Standing on the Top."
