From Sukkafu - by way of MSN Entertainment: [glow=red,2,300]Red All Over:[/glow] Diana Ross still knows how to make an entrance. The supreme diva cuts a swath through the Goddess bash at the Met in a flowing, floor-sweeping fire-engine-red Tom Ford gown that ensures the little people will be scrambling out her way. Ross unwisely chooses to layer on a lipstick in the same blazing red as her dress, but her biggest misstep a hairdo so big you could serve hors d'oeuvres on it. To paraphrase one of her songs, "Baby, baby, where did your comb go?"

she sure looks good and yet she looks buffoonish. 59 yrs old and still all about attention.
berry's way too old for you now diana.
i wish she would turn down the color a bit -she looks like a splash of bloody mary on her dress!
do you think d.r. is making her comeback in society after the painful arizona ordeal? is her voice shot from yrs of drinking?

Well, I love red. And red is a BIG color this year. I've just been amazed at the amount of red in the stores and how it is used in fashion this year. That and black. I received some gifts and suddenly discovered I had four new black/check blouses. And I like them all.
Where are all our experts on redesigning hair? I'd love to see some ideas of hair styles for Diana. And could people put their ideas of hairstyles on Diana in her red dress? What would be the best look for Diana?

I love that straight, sleek bob she wore in the 70s. She should go back to that hairstyle. The red dress looks fantastic. For every day, I would suggest loose, flowing jackets and pants and low-key makeup.

i like the formal look but she didn't look too good at police headquarters.
the hair was way out in motown 25 also- she looked like roseanne roseannadanna(gilda radner's character on snl)

Perhaps Ms. Ross should go on Oprah and get a makeover like Coretta Scott King did - Mrs. King looked 20 yrs younger and absolutely fabulous! temptsinfo.com/smilies/wtg.gif

All in all she still got it. I'm not a big fan but I give credit where credit is due. She is a true pioneer in the business. I hope her health is alright and stays clean and sober.

we all wish her well- the question is - does she finally wish herself well? diana should remember Motown 25 and when they had t g sheppard singing ''there's a devil in the bottle ''-she can listen to the words over and over. or her nose will be as red as the dress!

Yesterday we were given a free lunch, catered by Kenny Rogers Restaurant. There was a karaoke with some local DJ and people were getting up and performing. Well. they had Diana Ross and the Supremes singing "Stop in the Name of Love." Some staff members were the performers. The people sitting at the table with me thought the voices were these staff members. 'NO WAY," said I. "The girls may be moving around and lip synching, but those voices are Diana and the Supremes." The DJ had the voices on real loud. The people at the table were still convinced that they were actually hearing the staff personnel singing. I couldn't believe they didn't recognize the Supremes.
Finally I said, "Do you think Diana Ross would let anyone sing over her?" That convinced them. "No," they said. Sounds silly, doesn't it? I still can't understand how anyone would not recognize Diana and the Supremes. She and they had an unmistakable sound.
