Nope, not going to my gramma's. She's only 15 minutes away and I wouldn't dare stay with her for an entire summer. She's retired (and substitute-teaches sometimes) so she's ALWAYS at home.
I signed up to be a tutor with the Upward Bound program. I have to move back on campus next Tuesday and start orientation Wednesday. The actual program is from June 1 to July 10. I get paid twice; $900 before taxes. They tell me there's even a trip for the tutors and students at the end. This year they're going to NY and DC.

i turned on leno tonight for a few minutes and he had reuben studdard on. he didn't sing but he got lots of applause.
there's a show called celebrity justice that said tonight that clay's single is blowing reuben's off the charts by a mile-based on internet sales.

That's a lot coming from a lady who had something like twelve undergrad majors ( ) and who just finished her first year of law school! ;D I saw that. He's not much for interviews but he sure is cute. I saw yesterday afternoon that Clay was #1 in sales at Amazon.com and Ruben has moved up from #390-something to #2. Ruben fans had to hear the songs first, I guess. I told my ma to place her order but she said no.

I couldn't do it if I weren't getting paid. Me and young teenagers don't get along so well.

IRLM, your "keep it real" factor is astronomical. Most people would dress it up and say "yes, I'm doing this for the betterment of the youth"... but you're like "hey... I'm in it to fund my Temptations habit."

You know what? and I'm for real about this--that's one of the first thing I plan on doing when I get my paychecks. I looked on bordersstores.com and looked for Temptation and Marvin Gaye albums to order and have shipped to the store near me. I went there looking and tonight I'm going to make a list.

There's no leftover money from Clarkson's CD. If what I heard Wednesday night was any indication, there's no way I'd buy anything of hers. She was awful. 601 loves 205! I think it's the late-night delirium talking.... I'd heard "Miss Independent" before... I downloaded it that night! ;D

I'm going to download 'You Thought Wrong,' that song she did with Tamyra and I'll leave it at that. She has a decent enough voice, but not something I want to hear all the time.
Where's that "Celebrities That Annoy Me' post....

Even though it's not about American Idol, I didn't think this warranted making another post about it. I got my grades today. I managed a 4.0 this semester, which brings my cumulative GPA to a 3.78. My ma said that she'd buy me something if I got a 4.0 for this semester. We went straight to the mall and I got a new pair of shoes ( www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod350545&categoryId=null) and the movie Meet The Parents.
