michael jordan may or may not have been the greatest player, but nobody can argue with his success on the court-and off. he's the most widely recognized name in the world of sports or entertainment. he's increased the nba revenue by billions. he's the most popular player ever on the harwood floor. he's definitely going to be missed. i believe he did it in a graceful, hardworking tempts way. smooth and classy and one of a kind.
kobe is great, but he's no jordan.no style to his personality.

Yes MJ was all that and more. I know it was tough for him to come back and not have a chance to go to the playoffs but today's young player is so arrogant and unwilling to listen to anybody, talks back to coaches, disrespects authority that I can imagine his contempt for them at this point. Later when they have played in the league as long as he did they will find the respect the game and it former players who paved the way for the salaries they make today.
As far as Kobe...I'm fine with Kobe. I don't want another MJ. We have already seen him. Bring something different to the table. Kobe does that and does not need to be caught up in the be the next MJ. Just be Kobe.........that's good enough for me!!!! ;D

kobe is great, but he's no jordan.no style to his personality. I know yall think I'm saying this only because I'm tired of the Lakers, but I agree with that. And as long as Kobe doesn't try to be MJ that's cool with me. Just wish people would stop comparing him to Jordan...
