AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH

i listened to the tempts/supremes cd that mikey sent me and i thought it was interesting that they did an exact cover of the marvin gaye /tammi terrell version of ain't no mountain high enough. just a year or 2 later diana ross came out with a slower version.

which version do you rank as #1-3? also, did anybody else in or out of motown do the song and do you like their version?


here's what i think-

#1=marvin gaye/tammi terrell
#2= diana ross
#3-tempts/supremes

i ranked them in that order but the difference to me is very close-i almost could reverse the order-they all sound good.

well, i wonder what you really think! i disagree - marvin and tammi make it a fun uptempo song, but diana made it a passionate love anthem.
