Man, I'm so tired hearing about the Lakers. That's a broken record, for real. Honestly, I believe that a lot of teams can beat the Lakers (and will). Folks like to play scared, though, and I ain't for that. I'm going for the Kings in the West and the Sixers in the East.

you do that! i got that felling as well when it was the boston celtics for 9 STRAIGHT YEARS in the 60's! of course there were only 8 teams back then! but that also meant that only the best of the best could play in the nba!
i also got tired of the bulls dynasty -in the 90's - with 26 teams at the time - they still managed to win- of course they had jordan and phil jackson as coach.
i'd like to see my clippers win one year just like i saw the angels win the world series last year. i still believe the road to the championship goes through L.A.!
southern niece, you sound like you're getting the ny yankee syndrome- it's called jealousy, right ABA?

Man... that's another one of your jokes, right? I think that's your funniest yet. 1$-)
What am I jealous of? I'm not an NBA player; I'm not waiting on a championship ring. Where does the jealousy come in? I'm just a spectator, and an infrequent one at that.
I'm not waiting (or betting) on the Lakers to fail. Won't change my life one bit. I think it's funny when they lose, but at the end of the day I don't feel any better or any worse about it, so it's really rather insignificant.
I believe that there are better teams than the Lakers this year.

kings crushed sonics . sixers played without van horn and beat detroit without ben wallace. iverson played with severe bursitis and had 37 points! sixers are closing in!
AND NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS- LAKERS CRUSH MAVERICKS AGAIN! KOBE AND SHAQ ONLY HAD 14 POINTS EACH - THIS TIME GEORGE AND FOX AND THE OTHERS STEPPED UP AND CONTRIBUTED! SPURS AND MAVS ARE DEAD EVEN, WITH KINGS ABOUT TO OVERTAKE THEM FOR THE BEST NBA RECORD! ROCKETS ARE ALMOST OUT, MICHAEL JORDAN DELAYED THE INEVITABLE BY WINNING IN CLEVELAND, AND SUNS HAVE IT ALMOST WRAPPED UP!
SYRACUSE WON YESTERDAY! GREAT GAME! JAYHAWKS DIDN'T MAKE FREE THROWS!
LADY VOLS LOST A HEARTBREAKER TO HUSKIES! and that's your sports update!

There is one team in the east who is in charge and I believe it is the Nets like I said. Patience is a virtue. I said they would survive and they will. ;D ;D ;D

Mike, your team's doing things, were you at baby? Lakers vs. Kings- I'm so excited (and scared)!! <<<But my team better not be. Lakers want this game though. They let the kings beat them already twice this year, and they've only beaten the Kings once. It's gonna be a showdown!

I don't even want to watch this game because I know some bull is going to happen. If I do watch, I'll most likely tune in after the half.
