new jersey wins again, recapturing 1st by a 1.5 game lead. kings win again, indiana loses, bucks win, knicks lose, utah wins, mavs win, suns lose, so lots of shuffling going up and down the playoff charts.
ABA-are you going to the lakers-san antonio game on sunday(today)? it should be a showdown!

No suk......I'll watch it at home with my family. I am out working on Sat. so I don't have but one day of rest and relaxation at home. It should be a great one though. My faith in the Nets has never wavered. I was shaken but not stirred!!!!!!!!!

As a fan my thre teams are and my only three teams ever in life as been: 1 Washington Redskins 2 New York Yankees 3 Los Angeles Lakers
The only teams I have ever rooted for and ever will. See I'm not a front runner. I go with my team through the good and the bad and Lawd knows I been through plenty of bad lately with my Washington Redskins. I still have season tickets to the Redskins. They have been in my family for more than thirty years.

we are such brothers ABA! my brother and sister in law are die hard redskins fans. they are my 3rd favorite team-raiders #1, jets #2,redskins#3,giants#4.
i love the yankees since 1962. 41 yrs a fan. i loved them in 1965-1975 when they sucked, and 1982-1993 when they sucked. it's like you said- no fair weather fan here. i like the lakers- that's the team. when they sucked in 1992-1998-i lived them still.
i like usc trojans then maryland then ucla- those are my 3 teams. then byu,san diego state and then cal berkeley.
SIXERS POUND RAPTORS, THEN NETS LOSE AGAIN IN CLEVELAND! HALF A GAME APART! WOOOO!
LAKERS GET SWEPT BY SPURS IN REG SEASON. WIZARDS ARE FADING FAST- JORDAN GOING OUT WITH A WIMPER.

Aba - even though I'm from the DC area - I HATE the Deadskins! Because of my name, I became a Dallas Cowboys fan when I was about 9. The first football game I ever watched was the infamous "Ice Bowl" Game in Green Bay. I was hooked! Second favorite team now is the Panthers - due to local ties. Third on my list of NFL teams is Tampa Bay. I used to be a MAJOR fan of the Celtics during the Bird, McHale, Parrish era. I started following the Hornets during their first 7 years or so - but the George Shinn/Ray Woolridge saga put a lot of tarnish on the Queen City's crown. North Carolina is college basketball country. The ACC rules down here. I am a DIE-HARD Duke fan and Maryland Terrapins come second - home team!!

my nephew robert, who works for goldman sachs in nyc and visited with his aunt elise and his cousin constance last week, graduated from duke! he had a mentor in the ghetto who helped guide him through high school and through college.
if it weren't for robert, i don't like duke as much.

we went through the same thing. my father is a dallas cowboys fan. we were fighting all the time at my house because he would bet on the cowboys and he didn't understand why i would want him to lose, especially versus the redskins.

Well nobody in this house ever agrees with me. They always pick the winning team and I always pick the people against the winning team. Take the Lakers for example. I'm tired of seeing them win! I wanna see somebody else take home the prize! That same reason is why I started liking the Sixers back in whatever year it was the played in the Finals. But it's not just who's hot, because I still have a soft spot for the Sixers now, and since then they haven't always been on fire. But I think my Kings can even further than the Sixers this year. (Mike, ya never know). I hope they can take home a ring this year, but I'll still like them if they can't. There's lots of potential on that team. And there's talent all over the team, even on the bench, not just a one-man team. Of course all eyes look to Webber, because lots of people think he's the one who has to get the team goin', but there's more than one individual on that team that can get things done.

Earthangel........Just remember it is tougher to be stay champion than it is to be champion. As bad as the Lakers have played this year everybody is still worried about them. That's what champions do...make you think about them and that's partof the psycological advantage they hold over you. It is a trmendous accomplishment to have won three world titles ina row. Some guys play their whole career and not win ONE much less three. They not giving them away.......YOU GOT TO EARN IT!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Oh yeah, I know the Lakers are a tough team. Obviously they must be if no one can defeat them. And I know that they put fear in the hearts of other teams by intimidating them. I mean, come on, they got Shaq, you know they got some power behind em! But I can't wait to see who's next...
