iVORY...she set me up on us army mail services so she could email me and send reports on what's going on and inturn any messages from us to her I could send them. Apparently you need to clear some kind of security ti email peopel in the services whish she somehow got for me to be able to get in their emaisl services.

No suk....I was in the studio recording my three part B-Sides cds. Man they came out nice. I had just finished and decided to give the board a look see before I went down for the count. What's going on by you?

I just got an email from her sister who say KIKI is doing fine and sends her love to all. She will give us more details when she is settled.

i had a long and up and down day working on these loans and real estate. it's a grind sometimes. you know, you're in sales. paperwork and more paperwork.  b-sides,huh? that's always a good way to discover music that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves! hooray for my laura ! hooray! Ok, since Kiki has now officially "gone away" I've decided to change the the title of this thread. Hopefully she won't mind that I've done a pun on the old Marines slogan since she's in the Army, but oh well, if she does, what is she gonna do about it from way over there. (Well, I mean BESIDES aiming a Patriot at my butt! LOL!) Anyway, thought you might like to hear how she's doing. Got a couple of emails from her........... Okay living conditions...well they leave alot to be desired... we stay
in large (NO AC havin') tents. It is almost unbearable to sleep in
there during the day because the heat makes you miserable. They have a
Trailer that has showers...the males have posted hours and so do we..but it
is filthy..but running water is a luxury(sp)so go figure. They have a
dining facility but it is like a freakin' mile away and the line is like
2 hrs long...so we eat on snacks we bought..they do have a PX(store)
that sells food and comfort items. The lines here are outrageous..for px,
phone, dining facility(dfac)...so mostly I go to work, and to the tent
with my friend. They have a Large tent with weights. But who wants to
pump Iron in a swealtering tent...NOT MEEEEE!!! Oh they have a Barber
shop and a sub sandwich shop. But again we leave here and head north in a
few days.
So thats gonna wrap it up for news from the front. Oh and I never leave
home without my gas mask!!!!!! The "War" may be over but there is still
a threat here...More........ It really sucks out here. Keeping clean is near impossible. ...I don't get alot of time to read the board
so I have only looked at a few threads. I looked at my going away party
and noticed Sukka was talking work...so I was teasing Aba and told him
not to have work related discussions on my party page ha ha ha. I was
joking though. I saw what you posted about MRE's. I will tell you they
have come along way since I first joined the Army(those ones were
gross...insert vomit smiley) The line for the dining facility(dfac) is so
long..and a million miles away that Mre's are becoming quite popular. I
hope everyone if doing fine. Tell your Martha Stewert friend we had
another sand storm this morning. The only good thing about that is the dusty
wind keeps the sweltering heat down. I don't know what is worse. |

May God watch over you and all the other soldiers who are fighting or helping to protect our freedom. Whether we agree with Mr. Bush's policies or not, we all support our troops wholeheartedly. 2-)

You must have misread the score Ivory. The only butt kicking was done by the big guy. But we still miss her greatly. She's over there eating dust for us so the least we could do is get her a decent meal when she gets back! What do you say? ;D ;D ;D

i know she isn't starving in the desert-aba- she can eat all the sandwiches(sand which is) there! ;D when laura comes home i would be willing to buy her 2 tickets to any tempts or review show she cares to go to! |
