LOL! Did Aba bonk his head getting onto the ark, or was the door tall enough for BOTH of you to walk through without any problem?

ABA, I agree with your post. You can't just pretend that stuff you don't like doesn't exist, and you can't always avoid it. I never agree with parents who try to shield their kids from everything, like I said in another thread, things should be explained to children so they can take it further, instead of trying to hide it from them. If you try to shelter your children from things that are out there, they will find out from someone else....and most likely, it isn't going to be positive.

I think that might explain why preachers' kids might have the worst reputation out there.

there is a happy medium. you don't strangle hold your kids but you don't let them run in the middle of traffic at rush hour either to experience the feeling of car fenders on your rib cage!

They could do that in the driveway. I mean, if they really wanted to know that feeling.

don't laugh, i have 2 really close friends that both ran over their children in the driveway. after mighty prayers and tears, both kids were just fine. the amazing thing is one was a truck and the other a van and neither kid had a broken bone in their body.

They say prayer can change things. Sukkafu, I'm glad your friends children turned out all right.
