When it's not warm, I'm very very sad. Definetly definetly rainman I was outside almost all day today, changing classes and going to the bookstore to get legally robbed. Winter, definitely definitely not my favorite season.

Kikiaj, I thought I had put 'definitely definitely rainman' in my original post. I was like, that's was what I was thinking of when I said what I said, but I certainly didn't mean to put it in my post. You threw me off, lol. ;D

We get lots of mosquitoes during the summer months. If it weren't for that fact, I'd love to stay outside all night. There's just something about the warm air at night.

nieces, what's so neat about san diego was it was 80+ degrees today, but there's no bugs! we have low humidity-30%- so no mosquitoes. san diego is a semi arid climate like the mediterranean so it has the lowest insect population of any major city in america. it also cools off at night so you don't get those hot sticky sweaty nights. we use our air conditioner maybe 4 times a year or less.
it was nice to be outside in the sun!

MUST you brag? ;D It's so cold outside right now I don't think I'm leaving until my mother comes to get me. EDIT: I did leave, to go to dinner. I had some lasagna that both looked and tasted like chili (and noodles). And a sugar cookie that smelled and tasted like sweet popcorn. Don't ask.

The only warmth I'm feeling is that coming from the heater. Sukka, Cali sounds so nice right about now!!! I did forget about all those pesty mosquitos down here in the summer.

remember that song by phil collins about 12 years ago -'' oh, think twice, it's just another day for you and me in paradise'' well, it's how i feel out here. i've lived in brooklyn and long island ,new york, also in maryland, and in d.c., and in greeley colorado, and i have seen some blizzards. i have lived in northern california near oakland and then sacramento and i have seen some major pea soup( fog) and i have been to canada, and to utah in the winter, and to upstate new york, and i have seen me enough white to blind king kong. i love the warmth. i am going in february with my wife elise to big bear lake in the southern california mountains for 3 days to play romper room in the snow- but other than that i will come back to my sunny warmth and incredibly blessed lifestyle. i pay dearly - it is NOT CHEAP to live here! you guys would be struggling to make ends meet if you don't have an angle on how to succeed. we do have the most homeless migrate out here in l.a. and san diego because at least on the street here you won't freeze to death.
