LOL. Thats the perfect time to wear it! Makes ya seem all important. That coat could even speak to other women. It says, "Can't you see my importance. I'm the girlfriend", or "I'm the wife"

I'd LOVE a coat like that...but probably in silver! But I like gold also.

I wonder why in my copy of TCB, the Tempts' suits appear to be more silver than gold?

Not sure, hmmm.

But I DO know that those gold lame numbers are one of my favorite ensembles. They're right up there with the beloved sherbert suits and those tunic things they wore for their "Fiddler on the Roof" skit for "GIT."
