here's a great game for you guys---tonight my close friends' son played against stevie-and they're best friends. our san marcos knights usually lose to the bigger better escondido cougars.
we started out up 18-7, then they cut it to 19-15, then we're up 26-15, then they went on a big run, and at the half, it was 36-36. then we came out in the 2nd half like gangbusters and we scored 14 straight points. we then went up 58-38, then they made a 10-0 run, then we got hot again, and the final score- 80-64 we won!!! and stevie got to play and he and my friend's son were on court the same time! we are now 11-6 for the season.
by the way, the sixers made a great comeback but just fell short. the lakers blew the game and kobe was only 5 for 21 and blew a shot in regulation to win it.
yao is good. he'll be even better.
NEW JERSEY WON AGAIN! pacers lost, and dallas lost again!

Congratulations Knights! Basketball always has me on the edge of my seat. I hope Shaq and Yao become friends. They seem to have no problem with each other now. That Christmas card thing from Yao to Shaq was sweet. Even after Shaq was trynna be funny with the Chinese language.

there was a scathing commentary in espn online by bill walton about shaq's mocking the chinese language and that if yao had made fun of african americans there would be such a stink made that the press would not have enough room.
so, game and class this time go to yao. but shaq is still my man, and probably feels a little embarrassed by how wrong he was about yao.

What do you mean "won again" ? There winning streak is what ? Lakers STILL are not playing .500 ball ! Lakers didn't blow the game, they got YAO MINGED ! No free low post scores,Shaq! Swatted Shaq's stuff away repeatedly ! Kobe? What's he gonna do ? Nada! ;D

yao wasn't the star-steve francis with 44 points and 11 assists was! he's why they lost.
obvious unkind lakers comments award goes to ....
you know who!
i think the last 3 championships show anybody with eyes and ears that the lakers ,not the sixers, are the team to beat.and to repeat!

mike, here's a whopping sub .500 for you-
PHILADELPHIA SEVENTY SIXERS- LAST 20 GAMES = 5 WINS AND 15 LOSSES= .250 WINNING PERCENTAGE- DOUBLE SUB .500!!!!
LOS ANGELES LAKERS-LAST 20 GAMES =11 WINS AND 9 LOSSES=.550 WINNING PERCENTAGE.
THE SIXERS WERE 15-4 AND THE LAKERS WERE 7-12
WHICH DIRECTION WOULD YOU RATHER BE GOING -SOUTH LIKE PHILLY OR NORTH LIKE L.A.?
DISSING THE LAKERS DOESN'T DO 2 THINGS-BOTHER ME OR MAKE THE SIXERS ANY BETTER! IVERSON HAS EARRINGS AND KOBE HAS CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS! TAHT'S THE DIFFERENCE! AND ALLEN HAD HIS CHANCE,TOO!HEAD TO HEAD!

I gotta agree, Steve Francis was the star of the game. I was very impressed and Houston is lucky they have him. But Shaq is one of the main reasons Lakers are playing so well once again, and having Yao there to handle him wasn't a bad thing for the Rockets. 76ers start off great but they dont ever finish anything, sorry to say.

I agree wit cha dahlin'....but they will go home later than most and with a pocket full of playoff money. Now just how many of them western teams do you root for? And who will the Nets be playing in the finals? That is the question???

the new jersey nets are rocking like last year. the sixers if they get mutombo back then they'll be a hot contender -but they need mutombo.
