It is warm today, but as you know this has been an unusually frigid winter in NC. Kevin Siers had a great cartoon in the editorial section of the Charlotte Observer during our snowstorm a couple of weeks ago. I thought I'd share for a laugh. ;D  |

but you will get in the 30's and 40's which is cold enough to stop streakers from streaking at ball games!

The flu is spreading very rapidly and really badly down here in the AUG. At some either people are absent or they're coughing and sneezing or blowing their nose everywhere. I think I may be comin' down with something, but I hope not. I've missed enough days the past 2 weeks as it is. But its amazing to see just how much this thing is spreading. Every class period the majority of the students have colds/flu, whether present or absent. And not to mention everybody's sister or brother or mother who also has it too.  |

oh not again... we're expecting SNOW today! It was 70 degrees on Monday, and now we're back to the wintry mix. Punxatawney Phil is a pain in the rear. Why didn't they just let him sleep on Sunday morning |

we have actually cooled down a bit- our highs are around 70 and our lows are around 40. we are expecting a 5 day rain next week -we need it desperately. gots ta wata da flowers! |

south carolina=christmas carolina
virginia= frigidia
maryland=flurryland
pennsylvania= popsiclevania
arkansas=arkansnow
massachusetts=messy chunk snow
illinois=chillinois
michigan=slush again?
and february=fed up already!
