oh the weather outside is frightful, and the east is undelightful, since we've no sun just snow, let us go let us go to san diego!
to be sick is a downer to be cold is a downer to be both is awful. i lubbs ya ivory- please get better! i wish you a speedy recovery and a heat wave!

Hope you feel better Ivory. But a cold in the cold feels better than in the heat. I remember the time I got strep throat and a fever and it happened to catch me on an early April heatwave where it was 90 degrees and they hadn't turned the AC in the building. That was misery. Colds during the summer just don't feel right either... but I hope you're back to tip top shape soon

38? 17? Hah ya big babies! I can TOP THAT!!! Right now the temperature thingy on my computer says it's 13 FRIGGIN DEGREES OUTSIDE with a low of 6!!!!! And there's a new inch of snow on the ground! But I'm out of groceries, and I've been shut in this house for four days and I'M ABOUT TO GO MAD I TELL YOU!!!!! MAD!!!! MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOUR DAYS OF HEARTACHE AND PAIN! FOUR DAYS OF BLOWING MY NOSE HARD! FOR DAYS OF TOSSIN' AND TURNIN' WITH MY BIG GLASSES ON, CAUSE I HAD PINK EYE!!!!

It is 9 degrees here! And it's supposed to stay that way until Saturday, when it goes up to a balmy 28! It ought to be against the law to be this friggin cold! Ivory, feel better and STOP LOOKING AT THAT THERMOSTAT! Just keep sipping on some tea - or a hot toddie.... - and dream of summer!

Update: it is now 8 degrees Sukka, Mr. Ivory lives in PA, so I'm afraind all of my groceries would be eaten by the time he got them driven down here.
