We arrived at the Theater at 6:15 pm. Doors opened at 7. I was talking to ythe guy in line behind me who said his friends waited in a long line earlier that day to get tickets only to find out they sold out. The couple in front of me said they had came Friday and the word had gotten out that the Tempts were hot so people were buying tickets like hot butter biscuits. As the usher escorted us to our seats my heart raced. At 8pm sharp the Tempts made thier entrance. When they hit the stage the crowd rose to its feet screaming and clapping ( especially me ). My only dissappiontment was they have on the same thing they wore the last time they were there. But as soon as GC started singing I forgot all about what they had on. (with the exception of Terry. He didn't have on his "T" belt ). GC did his thing. They didn't sing Memories which I love but they sang" All I Need.....and you better believe GC tore it all to pieces. Ron had jokes as ususal. The waitress was giving someone on the front row their drink and he reached for it.Silly . I waited for Ron to sing my song and when he did sing "PLEASE RETURN YOUR LOVE TO ME I got weak in the knees Oh that is my song .

Joe, danced and sing. I enjoyed watching him. The man has the moves. I got chills everytime he sang " And the band played on" Prehaps because he sounds alot like Blu. As Otis Intorduced (my love) Mr. Terry "BabyFace" Weeks. I let out a scream I still don't know where it came from I was like . Oh My God he is so Sexy even without the "T" belt. Terry loves being a Tempt. He sang "since I lost my Baby" and don't you know the boy was down on both knees saying " I don't know what I'm gonna do without my baby" and the rest of the guys were standing around saying "Terry whatcha gonna do" At this time I want to run on stage and telll him here I am get up off your knees and lets go home

Temptress,
I looked to see if I could see your pretty face, but it was crowded and I never did.
I don't know how to use messages, but if you send me one, I have something for you.
As for "Since I Lost My Baby," I was glad that Terry had introduced elements making it his song.
And G.C. too does his songs his way. I like the way he introduces "My Girl" and concludes it. I also like the fact that he doesn't try to imitate David's movements and gestures.
Joe does steal everyone's heart with his "and the band played on."
The first night Otis had a lead part which went on for quite a while. Some songs are really ensemble songs and each singer has a good part. I can't remember which song but they didn't do that song the second night.

The sold-out part has become customary.
When The Temptations first started coming to the Biloxi Grand, they came once a year or once every two years. Now they come twice a year for two nights each time plus they play neighboring Casinos along the Gulf Coast plus Casinos in the upper part of Mississippi. And each time it is for at least two nights.
ANd it's not just people along the Gulf Coast who go. I've met people there from southern Florida, way down in the tip of Florida, from Texas (at least 600 miles away), from Indiana. I'm not referring to vacationing people but people who specifically came to see the Temptations. I know I'm guilty of traveling 700 miles one way to see The Temptations, but I thought I was the only fool to do that. It seems I'm not alone.
Hooray for The Temptations! Just read something funny. It seems the past year the most popular music with the public was R & B and (can't remember). Read this morning that one soul was complaining that a recent party just had R&B music. It's Mardi Gras time here and parties abound. Glad to hear that people are finally demanding real music but sad to think that Gordy is not producing more R & B or whatever music. \
What is the new president of Motown doing? It seems to me they are just releasing every note the old Motown did.

Now as I have stated in one of my previous post. It would only be a matter of time before the new additions would gel and make everyone stand back and take notice. G.C. is out of the starting gate making a statement. A new day is rising sunny and bright.

The last time I was at a Tempts concert - Bo was still in the Group.
We sat in the front row - and there were two Women in the front row - all the way on the right - which put them right in front of Bo. During the concert - they were giving Bo a lot of attention - screaming, clapping, etc. At one point - they passed Bo a tissue - he wiped his face with the tissue and gave it back to them - which got more than a RISE from these two Women.
When the concert got to the point to where all the Guy's were being introduced - and when Otis was being introduced - these two Women ran over to be in front of Otis - they got down on their knees - and were bowing to Otis. I was so happy to see Otis get the respect.
Thanks for allowing me to share!
Basssinger - Sorry to hear you were sick - glad to see you back!
