Hey, Charlie...welcome!!! I have been away (job hunting and obsessing) and didn't officially meet you. Thanks so much for the review.....what a line-up of songs! "Please Return Your Love to Me" is one of my favorites and would be great to hear! I hope they do it in Denver in September. I'm so excited to go! Peach

tdallasw,
Thanks for the Atlanta posting. I enjoyed seeing what they wore. The Tempts are really classy.
I was thinking they had worn three new outfits in the past few weeks, three that I know of. Sometimes people may say, "What?" However, I am amazed at the Tempts astuteness at knowing what to wear. For these outdoor concerts, it's knowing to wear high visibility outfits. For these multi-artists concerts, it's knowing to wear outfits that will not only bespeak of the confidence of the Tempts but make them stand out from the others. The clothes do not suggest an "oldies" act. They do not suggest a contemporary (sloppy clothes) act. They do suggest elegance, a class of their own.

Thanks for the welcome Peach! I have not been posting/reading very much lately, because I started a new job right after graduation.

Two more notes from the show:
-Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston were there, and then taken backstage. -Would it have been wrong in hoping that Barrington would calmly walk to the front of the stage and pull the mic away from GC Cameron to sing "Ain't Too Proud"?

Only unless G.C. invited him up there like Dennis did David.

Hello all! CHARLIE...I like the way you think. This past Sunday night in St. Louis I felt the same way. I could feel the blood drain from my face as the beginning of "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" began to play. My girlfriend turned to me and asked if I was OK. I just shook my head. I'd gotten use to an explosive start and a firey finish to that song, and I felt these elements were not there.
