awesome! it's a beautiful venue- if any of you remember my posts about a tribute to abbey road, it was there. the stage is surrounded by palm trees and is next to the yachts moored in san diego bay. tell me if any of you want to go-we'd have a blast -a lot warmer than bb king's in feb- and scenery that's a tropical paradise! thanks tdalgalpal!

Shout outs to everybody!!
Hey ((((Sukkafu))))! Wow, that venue does sound Beautiful!! I Love to Enjoy the Tempts' concerts in different venues.
I saw them at the Chene Park in Detroit for my "TFA" concert in August of last year, and oh that sparkling water before the sun went down. The only thing the Tempts had to deal with the flying bugs on the stage at first, but they were able to spray something to make them go away. I like see the bugs on the stage. It added a different feel to the concert.
I also Enjoyed seeing the Tempts at the Ravinia in 2000 and 2001 for my "DCT" and "SB" concerts. It's an outside venue also where you see the trees all around when the sun goes down. They weren't bothered with bugs at this concert. TTYAL!

lol ivory! with lots of bugs flying around, melody, you definitely get a different FEEL to the concert- AN ITCHY SCRATCHY FEEL! in san diego, we have the lowest bug total of any major city-because of low humidity and low rainfall. with a trip to humphrey's, you can see the bay, shop at coronado, la jolla, rancho santa fe or del mar, or fashion valley or mission valley malls. you can go to old town san diego, sea world is nearby, san diego zoo-balboa park, beaches are right near the humphrey's show, mountains are a few minutes away, mexico is a half hour south, with tijuana and rosarito beach and ensenada, with duty free stuff like clothes and perfumes from europe. the san diego airport is 10 min from humphrey's. right now i just got coast to coast airfare with america west for myself from CARLSBAD airport which is north of san diego 30 min.-america west and united fly out of there- $233 roundtrip including all nuisance fees. not bad ! 90 min. from disney, 120 min. from hollywood, 60 min. from wineries, lots of seafood, mexican food, chinese and japanese cuisine, lots of stuff to do. temperature at show time-probably 70-75 degrees! travel brochure provided by sukkafu !

seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! sukka doesn't exaggerate-all the time! ;D
it really is exquisite out here-not too crazy in the summer-not too cool in the winter-
today-67 degrees right now-no snow, no ice except in sukka's water glass!
aba will tell you- san diego was fabulous for him to be a big strong handsome young man playing basketball with wilt and getting records from tower records for $2 - he was riding high! he probably had more bunnies on his arm than the cabbage patch!

okay gang- it's coming up july 15th. that's the date for the tempts/tops show at that beautiful venue you see pictured above.
now i have a question to pose to you- who will put on a better show? will it be the tempts with harry and the henderson? or will it be theo and the peoples court? with ronnie mcnair of the spinners and duke and obie- 2 originals- will i enjoy the tops more or will i enjoy the tempts more with otis and tery and ron and bo and harry?
who do you think will give me more for my $?
remember to first re-read my concert review of the tops at temecula.

Sukkafu. Are you sure that Ronnie Mcneir was really in the spinners? If he was wow didn't know that!. I think they'll both give equally good shows. I personally can't wait to see both of them. And another thing I WANNA COME....
