I have always LOVED this song, as with most Valerie Simpson songs, but I always felt that Eddie would have done a far better job on it. Eddie's voice was so mature and mellow and ooth as silk - but you could tell Damon was very young and trying to do what he felt was a Eddie imitation as opposed to being himself.

Someone else was supposed to do the song, I don't remember now who it was, but Damon liked the song so much, they let him do it. |
