I was just looking at the clip section. Here is a question for the computer/technology brainiacs: I know some people who burn CDs. Is it possible to burn DVDs of all the great old Temps clips? I know the clips are great, but I see them on a 2" screen! With DVDs, I could see them on a 32" TV with stereo speakers. What do you people say? Is it possible, yet??  It would be great if it was possible!   ...don't look back... |

It was possible, for a while (haven't checked lately) to even buy most of them on DVD off Ebay, a poster on a prior board who had all of the good stuff on video transferred them to DVD. Or you can buy various Ed Sullivan anthologies on DVD, I don't know of any *1* that is all Tempts, but there are several different ones that have Tempts Clips from the Sullivan shows. Or you can buy VHS videos from ebay and buy yourself a DVD burner and transfer them yourself, or maybe there is a local business in your area that does that sort of transfer. At any rate, YES, the technology is available. |

No, since Ivory isn't in the habit of pimping out the Tempts, she won't be selling them at ANY price. Not gonna give them away either.
K's right, you can do it, but I don't know that you'd be happy with the result. You're not going to get the same quality if it had been commercially produced. I've put some of mine on DVD and VCD and I'd rather watch them on the computer.

More to the point, were Ivory or anyone else for that matter to do what Kai suggests, they would be seriously infringing on various copyrights.
