Under GENERAL DISCUSSION board there is a subject about a Temptations DVD of various line-ups etc and wouldn't it be good if one was available. WELL, .... ONE IS AVAILABLE !!! Just go to e-bay at the moment and put Temptations and Category DVD/FILM and you'll find it. Don't be put off by Dennis Edwards revue picture on the front (they obviously don't know what they're doin' !) just check out the description and you'll see over 2 hours of several line-ups. The quality probably won't be great but, hey, I'm buying one !
Sorry to post this thread here but, as usual, this is most unfriendly site/forum i've ever used. Shame, because I can't log in and i've always got some useful things to say.

Thanks, Mark! Unfriendly, though?  You can't post as a guest.... we have had some problems in the past with guests. Sorry Peach, I didn't mean it like that. I meant unfriendly as in "user friendly". I have had nothing but trouble with this site, technically.
Other than that, this forum is full of nice, well informed and knowledgeable people.

I remember our e-mail exchanges very clearly, Ivory, but since then I've gone through two computers to make sure I get a friendly one. Unfortunately , I lost all my previous e-mails when the last computer died on me !?
So I cannot remember any passwords etc.
I'll drop you an e-mail away from the forum to explain what's happening with my machine etc and get a new password etc. Unfortunately, I fear I may have the same problem because I've got mega protections (Firewall, Cookie Stoppers etc). Never mind, we'll have to see.
On another note, did you know that the new CD, LEGACY, is not going to be available in the UK. It's only available via import. Things have gone very wrong over here since Universal / UMG started pressing Motown stuff . Oh how I miss EMI doing it - they issued everything Motown USA did ! Never mind, i'll drive to London and get it from my favourite record store, Soul Brother Records who deal with imports straight away.

And that's exactly what your problem is, if you are unable to log in, it's because you're not allowing a cookie to be set. You may be a little over-protected there. The firewall shouldn't be a problem but cookies are pretty harmless. If you want to be able to post, you're gonna have to allow the board to set a cookie. If nothing else, lower the level of cookies you accept instead of blocking them altogether. |
