...its Wednesday and earthangel is supposed to be reminding Ivory that her tags and smileys don't work. The smileys at the top are cooperating, but the tags and the smileys above the message box aren't. And I checked and made sure the "disable smileys" thing isn't on :computer: (<<<one of the smileys from the top of the page)

Hey ivory, I found a way around my non working smileys...I know that the tag for inserting images is ![]() [/img] (in caps, of course, with the URL)...so I'll try the picture thing too |

Hey, the following questions are directed to anyone that can help:
1. How do I post a boxed quote like everyone else?
2. How come when I try to post a word in bold face or italics, only the word TEXT shows up?

Hi, 2sweet! 1. Go into your profile (very top of the board, the line of icons that starts with "home" "help" etc.). If you want your quote to appear under your avatar, scroll down to "Personal Text" and type in what you want to say. If you want it to appear at the bottom of your notes, scroll further down to "Signature" and type it in  . 2. When you want to BOLD text, or any other font-style changes, you will need to replace the word TEXT that shows between the tags. The tags have to go at the beginning and end of the text you want changed. hope this helps! |

If you meant using what someone else said as part of your post, go to that person's post and click quote....then write your reply to that quote underneath it in the message box
