I don't expect to get a lot of response out of this one, but what the heck..........
Reasons to hate summer, again, take turns giving one answer at a time.

I hate summer because..........
It's not very conducive to my favorite fashion item: turtlenecks.

Why else would I hate summer. The heat. I hear a voice saying "it's not the heat it's the humidity." well, I don't care which one it is, because, I'm burning up.

Hair sweating out faster than you can say "touch-up."
All the food temptations - hot dogs, hamburgers, brownies, ice cream. Temptation all 'round me, threat'nin' to do me in.

Reasons why I hate summertime: TOO HOT!!!! And my a/c JUST went out in my car the other day (guess its time for more freon). I REALLY HATE TO SWEAT! And like Ivory, I also cannot justify still wearing all of my dark colored clothing, jackets, and closed in shoes!

Mosquitoes, yes!
I like summer clothes better than winter clothes, but when it comes to men's clothes, winter fashion is much more elegant.

summer out here is pretty nice-but it gets crowded with tourists who think of san diego as a vacation spot-so all the hotels get booked up and expensive, the gas prices go up, and the nice restaurants get crowded and the movie theaters are packed.
with 3 million people in san diego county and who knows how many visitors- it can be a crawl on the freeway sometimes! which is why i work out of my house!

I'm with you on that note HYPE...if the humidity wasn't so bad around here, summer would be GREAT. Another reason I hate summer, is SNAKES...yikes :hairraiser: even though I only see "harmless" garter snakes around my house, it's STILL a snake, if there's one creature on God's green earth that sends me freakin' it woud be a snake...any of them, I don't care what kind, what size, what color, venomous or non....I absolutely can't stand them.

Hair sweating out faster than you can say "touch-up." That's another one Nish...I think they should have a special summer hair relaxer with added humidity control...
