I wish I knew how to...... 1. Play an instrument....any instrument, I don't care. I have always said that my voice was my instrument, but that's a lame excuse.  I want to be able to play something. I wrote a lot of songs and wasn't able to play them...just sing them. I didn't know how to write music--just did the melodies in my head. It would have helped to know how to play something! I can read music..... I'm hoping that Anna's lessons pay off and she can help me. ;D 2. Change the oil in my car. 3. French braid. Actually, I wish I could do any kind of fancy hairstyles....my poor daughter. She always asks and I have to say no. My sister tried to teach me but that was a joke. I have no fine motor skills. When I worked at Pizza Hut in college, they practically canned me because I was so slow at putting pepperoni on the pizza. :laughing: 4. Sew. I wish I could make cool clothes. Of course, I doubt I'd have the time even if I could! I think that's about it...for starters. I'm sure I could come up with a lot more. Peach |

You could do what my sister-in-law does.... she always buys clothes way too big for her kids....to get a lot of use. The problem is, they are hideously too big. Her one daughter is so scrawny, she looks really silly in these clothes....she never really grows into them completely. Anyway, she uses *masking tape* and tapes the hems up in the pants.
I hope I'm not offending any other hem tapers here. ;D

I always wanted to be able to sing. I mean, I can sing, but it just doesn't sound good.
I wish I could play the piano. I even bought a book, Complete Idiot's Guide to Playing the Piano and Electric Keyboard. I'm determined to at least know how to play some nursery rhyme before the summer is over.
I wish I could do a finger-roll, a left-handed layup, and I wish I could jump at least high enough to touch the middle of the basketball net. Right now, if even I concentrate, I can only touch the bottom of it.

I hope I'm not offending any other hem tapers here. ;D Peach There is a great item you can purchase in the sewing section of any store called STITCH WITCHERY It is great. Just place it between two pieces of material and iron. You can wash and dry the clothes as well. |

I wish I could play the drums. I have a fascination with that instrument.
I wish I could ride a bike and whistle so I could be normal. Oh well.

Maybe you and I should just move to Mars or something and then the entire planet will be populated by people who don't know how to ride a bike or whistle and then we won'tbe abnormal.  ......... the fatal flaw with that theory: no shopping malls on Mars.
