If'ns I have one, my boy is going to have the same name as a Temptation. I've thought about it, and the name sounds really distinguished, like he'll be able to go places.
My girl? I always liked the name of one of my friends from elementary school, and I'm going to throw her mother's name in the mix, because I think they sound good together.

Sukka, my mother says one thing had nothing to do with the other but I find that hard to believe.
IRLM, my father's name is Melvin and my uncles (his brothers) are named Terry and Glen. Pretty wild huh?

That is kind of wild. I think I've known three people with the same names as Temptations (one named Paul who committed suicide when we were in 10th grade) in my entire life.
Wait, I just thought about it. I have two cousins (brothers) named Terry and Rickey. ;D

Words I hate --welll, really two "humble opinion." Sounds like Uriah Heep talking.
And, Ivory, when I was a child one of my favorite stories in the Bible was the friendship of David and Jonathan. Guess what, at the age of 12, I so loved the name of David that I decided to name my first son "David." And I did. And I decided to give him a middle name of another favorite story in literature, that of King Arthur. So he's named after two kings.

boo that, and hold that. I have teens so it's the new slang in NYC and LI. I'm tired of of those phrases being constantly used. And let's not forget 'Git' as is can I git some.

Words I hate: When someone says 'sleep' instead of 'asleep' or 'sleeping'. I was talking to this guy once (a very intelligent, high class, and educated guy) and during the conversation, he said "I must have been 'sleep'." I couldn't figure out whether he was trying to say "asleep" or "sleeping"...and it grated a nerve because he is so educated and should know better!

Diva, you've got me right there. I'm thinking back and I can hardly remember when I said "sleeping" or "asleep." I almost always say, "sleep."
