Yes he did Kim,,,,many years ago. I went to a show in a park in St Louis aND he was there singing....he sang three song in his set and two of them was that song. Almost as bad as Percy Sledge.  |

sukkafu is what the brothers in south central l.a used to call me in the 70's when i was hanging in the hood with my musical folks. they would shout out -hey sucker fool-
and most of them were from the south so it sounde like sukkafu- and that's my nickname. they would say- sukkafu-come over for dinner- neecey dun fixed some red beans and rice with hog jowls and greens!
i was then initiated into southern cooking!

No not at all.....I like the song. When I was younger I remember it was always played at a party my parents might have. But I thought it odd he only sang three songs! ;D
