sukkafu is what the brothers in south central l.a used to call me in the 70's when i was hanging in the hood with my musical folks. they would shout out -hey sucker fool- and most of them were from the south so it sounde like sukkafu- and that's my nickname. they would say- sukkafu-come over for dinner- neecey dun fixed some red beans and rice with hog jowls and greens!
i was then initiated into southern cooking!

Aba you don't like that song? Or did he leave a bad taste in your mouth because he only performed 3 songs in his set? Just curious

Right now the song that describes me best is
- "Hovering by my suitcase trying to find a warm place to spend the night. Heavy rain falling, seems I hear your voice calling it's alright . . . Find me a place in a boxcar, so i play my guitar to pass the time. Late at night when it's hard to rest, I hold your picture to my chest and I feel fine. I-I-I feel fine."
Now, i'm not a hobo, but it's raining out side and I'm thinking of all my loves in the past. Of course, contributing to it is that I am listening to this song.
-"it's rainy night is [New York]. It's a rainy night in [Bronxville]. I feel like it's raining all over the world. I feel like it's raining all over the world.

No not at all.....I like the song. When I was younger I remember it was always played at a party my parents might have. But I thought it odd he only sang three songs! ;D

But I thought it odd he only sang three songs! ;D I remember seeing Diana Ross back in 1983 and she stayed on stage for 28 or maybe 30 minutes that is when I fell out with her. So ABA I can understand where you are coming from.

I thought the lyrics went "Living in and out of my suitcase...trying to find a warm place, to spend the night, just one night."

I thought the lyrics went "Living in and out of my suitcase...trying to find a warm place, to spend the night, just one night." I'm 99 percent sure it's "Hovering."
