I really like "Treat Her Like A Lady" as well. The only complaint I have about Ali singing it is the way he sings the line "How could anybody AX for much more" One of my biggest pet peeves is people saying AX instead of ASK!!!!

Well, I wasn't referring to "Special"...I was referring to "Higher and Higher". I don't think Richard has a lead on Special, does he?

That's right Jonel. I thought you meant on Special cause somebody always says someone is singing something you thought was sung by someone else for all these years. I thought we had another one.

Me too, earthangel. Sometimes I'm talking fast, but then I get to "ask" and I have slow down.
It's hard to say "ask-ed." Sounds like, "ask-et-uh" when you say it slowly. It's much easier to say "ax-ed." ;D

Oh my goodness, I thought I was just being ultra-critical. I said to my daughter..."Listen to Ali here. He's saying ax." So now every time we listen to it, Anna is quiet until *right* there and then she shouts "AX!" in unison with Ali. It tickles her. Peach

Did you all know that the original old-English spelling of the word we know as "ask" was actually "ax"? Things that make you go hmmmmmm......
