Intriguing choice --Idaho for retirement living. I don't think I've ever heard anyone state that preference before, unless they lived there.

What is your reason for choosing Idaho?

Well I went to school in Idaho in the late 60's. There is the great ski resort, Sun Valley and the beautiful upstate lakes and Recreation sites. They have Twin Falls and Shoshone Falls which are higher than Niagra Falls and the people were fantastic to me. I went back last year to have my number retired and to be put in the Hall of Fame and I have always liked the area. It was also where I watched Evil Keneivel try to jump the Snake River Canyon which is about a mile wide and where he chose to jump. It just is a good place to settle down. Even after all these years it retains its small town flavor.

idaho is very beautiful.half my band in the 70's were from boise or nampa. i have friends here in san marcos from idaho who come down here from oct to april and then go back up there for 6 months.

it does get verrrryy cold up there!

the northern parts are close to spokane wash.

Irlm...I sawsomebody ski into a tree and knock themselves out. So skiing fell way down on my list of things to do.

Yeah suk....I love Idaho. There are still some places in America that remind you of the old days.

i have never been on a ski slope. i am the only member of my entire family that has not been on a ski slope or on a snow mobile. i like snowballs and sledding downhill, but never have done the other stuff.

it was 84 today but lots of wind knocked out power and also killed a couple of people.
