I reckon this is the highlight of MEET THE TEMPS. I never used to be a Eddie fan (or any other Tenor 4 that matter) - nothing against them, but music is a participation thing 4 me, and I generally like singers in my own range - Paul, Ruff and Ali and Dennis. This song is one of the ones that won me over to the tenors, and after singing tenor songs for a while, my range is nearly up there - whihc means more favourite Temps songs 4 me - yay |

Yes, my voice is more Melvin than Eddie, but there was just always something about Eddie and his falsetto. When Eddie left, most fans followed him to his solo career! I must have played Keep On Truckin' and Boogie Down more than 1,000 times each! Too cool...and you just gotta get up and dance when you hear them...even if you are the size of a small hippo! :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :wtg ...I watch her as she passes... |

My all time favorite Eddie song is not one of the popular tunes but "With These Hands" recorded at the Copa. Eddie was in his prime and it was live....simply outstanding!! I also love that one by Eddie. |
